My practice is personal, small and confidential.   Appointments for new patients are made by phone  by me.  We discuss fees at this time.  While I prescribe medication and do psychotherapy, the  total treatments I do (with energy balancing) are not described, covered or coded under insurance.   For that reason (and others) my Acu-Psychiatry Practice is self-pay.  Initial visits are usually one and a half to two hours, depending on the complexity of issues.     After that, we meet on an hourly basis. Frequency is individualized.

This is not just about what I do, but who I am.  Unlike the popular belief   that the practitioner is incidental to the medicine, I believe  with many who have authored books and journal articles on this topic that everything we  do reflects our values and intent, or lack of. Our Intent  makes the difference.  Your intent and whomever is treating you.  Any effective treatment is much more than mechanical because we are much more than mechanical.  We need to bring our best to this encounter because we, meaning you and I, are the” active ingredients.”
